I have a Disteck P4204TWHD that I bought from my friend. She had it hooked up to a surrond sound system. I only bought the screen and after I moved it to my place, I plugged it to my Verizon Fios cable box, but to my surprise, no sound is coming out... Can you help me?

do you have sound from any other source like dvd or vcr ...or does the tv make noise at all

well you can connect white and red to green connector(Front Speakers) the yellow connector is subwoofer speaker and the Black connector is for Rear Speakers) is not connected. The Tv dont have any Surrond decoder so to have full surrond needs surrond decoder

Use an HDMI cable from your surround sounds output to your t.v.s input or use a three wire red,white,andyellow r.c.a. cable from surround out to t.v. in.

first..check your connections at the back of the tv..usually if your running a RGB component connection...if one of the wires is loose..it causes the pic to be red..or green..or something like that...if that doesn't work..run your dvd player..and switch the input to dvd..if it is still green..then you will have to remove the back and reseat the LVDS cable...if that doesnt work...replace the Ssb board....good luck

I had the same problem with my Lnt4071f. I called tech support and they said it was a faulty panel and the entire set had to be replaced. If you have your warrantly still use it, if not you may just be able to replace the panel, but its expensive.
