Hold the time set key in until the time flashes. Now let it go and use the tuning forward and back keys to set the time. I had the same problem because I continued to hold the timeSet button down while trying to adjust it. If you do, the forward/back keys have no effect.

Hold down the "buzzer", "radio" or "sound" buttons until you hear a beep and one of those words is blinking. then, use the arrow keys to go up and down by minute and only by minute (which means you are going to have to wait awhile if you want to change the time to many hours ahead or behind). When you get to the time you want, press enter.

This clock is an automatic set clock and it is 15 minutes ahead in each timezone and is not able to be reset by us

Set the year by pressing the right-arrow, "Up" or "+" button, depending on your model of clock.

I need a manual for the Timex T229B clock radio. I can't even figure out how to turn off the alarm. Please tell me how I can find one - preferably free. Thanks, Patty.

I can't find the Timex T229B on the Timex support site. However, the T228B may be similar. To turn off the alarm completely, there is a switch on the left side that must be set to Off. The switch is labeled Alarm on one side and Radio on the other. In between are 4 positions - from front to back, Radio, Buzz, Off and On. When in the Off position the alarm indicator symbol will not be lit at the top left of the display (it looks a bit like a bell). The dimmer switch is in front of this Alarm/Radio switch on this side of the clock.

To turn off the alarm and reset it for the next day, press the Alarm Set/Reset button to the right of the hour and minute buttons. The Snooze button is the large button to the left of the hour and minute buttons.

Timex alarm clock and clock radio manuals are available here: http://www.timexaudio.com/product_manuals.asp .

I hope this helps.

Forgot how to change time

Press and hold the Clock button (far left button in group of three) until the time begins flashing on the display. Press and hold the Forward(>>) or Reverse(<<) button to set the time. Remember to watch for AM or PM. The PM indicator is in the lower right side of the display. When finished you can either press the Clock button to set the time or after about 7 seconds it will automatically set for you. A"Beep" sound confirms that the time is set.
