I cannot produce a finalized music cd able to be hear on regular cd player

I can use "MP3 AUDIO MUSIC CD BURNER" or "ROXIO" software to copy a .WAV file to CD and am able to hear the music file but cannot hear it on a regular CD player. The burner has been working ok for about a year until now. Weird.
Any suggestions appreciated.

The .wav file has to be converted to .mp3 or .cda prior to burning in order to hear it in a regular cd player. Those applications have the ability to turn .mp3, and .wma to .cda format, which is what normal cd players read but they lack the ability to convert .wav to .cda

What do i need for a computer to start burning or to creat a cd/mp3/dvd .

First you need music to put on the CD. You can put your own music CD in the drive and run Windows Media Player and rip them to your hard drive (copies them). After you get all the songs you want onto your hard drive, you can make an audio CD if you ripped the songs as WAV files (this CD can be played in most CD players) or you can make an MP3 CD if you ripped the songs as mp3 files (this CD can only be played in CD players that support the MP3 standard). To make the audio CD or MP3 CD, just download the free program called BurnAware from the internet and run it. Insert a blank recordable CD in your computer, choose Audio CD or MP3 CD, then choose the songs you want and burn the CD. That's it.

How to convert M4P music to MP3

The music and audiobook files you purchased from online stores are protected by DRM. But most mobile players doesn't support DRM format. However you can burn the protected music files to CD-R/RW disc to make an audio CD, then use CD ripper softwares to rip the audio cd track back to MP3, WAV, WMA etc.
There are two ways to convert M4P music to MP3. One way is to use itunes for sophisticated computer user, another way is to use third party program for beginner, which is much easier.Following the steps , then get your job one easily.
Part one: Using itunes to converting M4p music
Step 1: Run iTunes and set burner options firstly. You can choose
Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Burning menu and then select your CD burner.
Note: If you don't have a physical burner, you may use a virtual burner program, NoteBurner. Go to http://www.noteburner.com to download the program. After you install it, you can choose NoteBurner Virtual CD-RW as what you do in the first step.
Step 2: Create a new playlist in iTunes and add all m4p files you want to convert to this new list.
Note: If you use NoteBurner, you need to select the output format in NoteBurner. After you click Settings button, you can set the output as MP3, WAV and WMA.
Step 3: Click Burn Disc button in iTunes to starting the burning. If you use NoteBurner, this is the final step since the program can rip back the burned music automatically. The output folder will be open automatically after all music finishes encoding.
Note: If you burn the m4p files on real CD, you need to rip the music back in iTunes. Open iTunes Edit>Preferences>Advanced menu and click small Importing tab inside the Advanced tab to choose "WAV encoder" or "AIFF Encoder" in the "Import Using" dropdown. In the left-hand panel under "Devices", select the CD that you burned
Step 4: In the main window opposite, deselect any CD track(s) you do not want to convert. Right-click or control-click over them, and choose the "convert to AIFF" or "convert to WAV" option.
Step 5: After the conversion, you may find the converted file at C:Documents and SettingsAdministratorMy DocumentsMy MusiciTunesiTunes Music
Part two: Using third party program to convert M4p music
Comparing to the previous method, the following is more simple and easier, you can finish the job with just several clicks.
Step 1: Free download M4P Converter, install and run it.
Step 2: Clicking "Add" or directly drag-drop protected M4P files. Batch M4P to MP3 conversion supported.
Step 3: In the "Setting" button, choose MP3 format (*.mp3), you can also custom the music.
Step 4: Click the "Start" button to start converting M4P to MP3. After successful converting M4P to MP3, the result shall be stored on the "Output path" folder. Then you can use them for playing without any limitation.

Audio formats supported by kenwood kdc 719

My older CD player accepted WAV files when I burned them as Audio CDs. (I was able to add CD-Text, even though my player can't read the text. The disc I added space between the tracks though didn't work properly.)

Then do a mastered burn (disc at once) and finalize the disc. I used CD Burner XP for burning the latest batch and Audacity to create the WAV files. I've also use Roxio Creator and Nero in the past.

I hope this helps.

(I'll admit there's one issue - I can't get the disc to stop between tracks. I was copying audio tapes to CD before more of my tapes broke.)

First I need to know what format you saved your music as in your "My Music" folder. ie: wma, mp3, wav etc... Hello

Dear cutechicago3

The best thing is to first copy the music files to a folder on the desktop, then use the mp3 player's software to locate music and transfer it. It is best to avoid confusion.

Music format

It's .wav format. However if you burn your MP3s as an audio disc (not an MP3 disc) with a program like Nero or Roxio Easy DVD Suite, then it will automatically convert them to .wav and burn them to CD and it will work with your CD player straight off.
