Is this a sudden onset problem or has it always done this?

Loose analog signal cables or any cabling run near power cables can induce 60-hz hum. Sometimes simply reversing an ac plug somewhere in the system can help.

If you can, move the whole system to another room and try it there. Consider things like track lighting lamps or variable controls.

Testimonial: "Changed out the AC plug and all is well now...Thanks very much"

What was wrong with it? Reversed?

OK not sure if this is any help but I had the same problem of high pitched constant sound coming out of my Logitech X-140 speakers and I had no idea had to fix it. Checked the forums and moved the sound input cable but it had very little effect on the constant high pitched noise coming from the speakers. Then I accessed the Realtek HD Audio Manager utility I have on my PC and accessed the Digital Input page. I accessed the "Real-time S/PDIF-In monitor" tab and it presented a page called "Realtek Digital Input Properties", here on the "Listen" tab page there was a check box next to "Listen to this device" - it was checked, I unchecked it and applied the change and the sound was gone!

That's good to know. I have an older Realtek sound card and it has Digital In and Out but no "Listen" button, just Output Sampling Rate and Output Source with check boxes for Output Digital Audio Source and S/PDIF In/Out Passthrough.

Every time my sub hits it makes a buzzing

There may be any of several problems.

If you send high pitch signals to a speaker designed for lows, it can cause waves to propagate outward causing a buzzing. Look up the specs on the speaker and verify that your crossover cuts off well below the high end frequency for this speaker.

Another problem can be due to the mounting which can resonate. This should be mounted on at least plywood that is 1/2 inch or more thick. It needs to be wood as plastic or metal will rattle and buzz.

Another problem can be the wiring near this can rattle and buzz.

Check out these possibilities.

97 f-150 high pitched wine from radio, buzzing behind instruments

If the whine changes pitch with engine RPM it could be a serious problem with the alternator. Possibly the voltage regulator, or a shorted diode in the alternator causing high frequency AC to be fed into the harness.

RCA D52W19B makes high pitched buzz when on

Sounds like a coil is vibrating or a component is bad causing the transformer to whine. Could possibly just need soldering.

Maytag SE1000 Dryer - high pitch buzz, then total non-start

Often, after a power surge that exceeds the parameters of surge suppression devices on the circuit board, the unit will do this. You will more than likely have a failed control board now and will need to replace it.
