Question about Sanyo DS27910 27" TV

High pitched buzzing...

My Sanyo DS27910 has developed a high pitched buzzing, whining, or ringing after the set has warmed up. It seems to come from the cabinet and not the speakers. I disconnected the sattelite system, played movies on video1 output, played games on video 2 output, and the sound persists no matter what. This noise is driving me crazy and I can't stand to watch it for more than a couple of hours. Help me please!!!

Hey there. My Sanyo T.V. model #FW32D06F is making a high pitched buzzing noise whenever I plug it in. There is no sound, aside from the high pitched noise, and no picture. Any help?

That is probably the flyback transformer and may be dangerous to service by yourself. Get a pro to look at it and stay safe. Voltages inside TV sets can exceed 10,000 volts AC.

I have a magnavox 37mf331d/37 that has developed a high pitched whine.the longer the tv is on the louder the whine.the tv is 5-6 yrs old

It's likely a capacitor associated with the power supply having gone bad.
It's obviously beyond your expertise to repair it yourself.
Find a trustworthy repair shop and take it there.

A loud buzzing is coming from the back of my sanyo ds 25390 tv. picture and regular sound is fine

If it is a high pitched whine or buzz it is likely a transformer vibrating so hard it is making the noise.

There are ways to try to deal with this issue but the set has to be opened and probed to locate where it is coming from--

for example with back off and set on a plastic rod can be used to touch areas and exert slight pressure until the sound changes or goes away--then either replace the part or I have used hot glue etc to stop it.

You first have to locate the source of the issue:

find where it is coming from.

97 f-150 high pitched wine from radio, buzzing behind instruments

If the whine changes pitch with engine RPM it could be a serious problem with the alternator. Possibly the voltage regulator, or a shorted diode in the alternator causing high frequency AC to be fed into the harness.

High pitched buzz/whine during wash cycle only, spin fine

1) Make sure valve is open all the way 2) some machines have a screen inside of the hose hook up which could be clogged. 3) last check to see if it is the hot or cold by switch your selector switch on your machine to hot then cold. If one of these positions eliminate the noise then the valve in the machine is bad.

High Pitch whine during acceleration

Hi Pullerwife,

I have a few suggestions for you,

First of all, check your air filter, make sure its clean, not clogged, and doesn't need to be changed.

I don't know how handy you are, but if you are fairly handy, check the idler pulley bearings, if your not, have a shop check it out, as a last resort.

Power steering pump/fluid being low is also a possibility, but thats usually more of a lower pitched whine then what you describe.

You say once the vehicle is warmed up, the whining stops. Does Weather seem to be a factor as well?

Hope I've helped, and don't forget to rate.
