I had success with steps below
1. Do not save any new file to memory card.
2. Connect your card to computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download sd card recovery software, recommended Asoftech Data Recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked) with link below
SD card recovery software
4. Install and open the data recovery program, select your memory drive, and click 'Next' button to start scanning process which will find your files.
WELL. It is quite possible to recover the photos no matter deleted, formatted, lost or inaccessible. All you need to do first is by trying a software tool to recover files from SD card.
Note: before those files are recovered, never should you attempt to save more data to the card. better stop using it for a moment. Hope it won't be too late. Regards.
You may try some recovery software to rescue the files on your camcorder, here are some for your options.
Photo Video Music Recovery (for Windows)
Photo Video Music Recovery for Mac
Both programs can also recover video and music files.
Note: Before your files are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the camcorder in case the original files(your recordings) are overwritten.
OK! I hope you've not stored anything else
on this SD card since then.
The deleted data off from a SD card is not
actually deleted as we think. It is still there until the new data is placed
there to overwrite it.
In order to get back these deleted files,
you could try to use a SD card data recovery freeware that could always help
restore the inaccessible data successfully in the same way as it has completely
restored the data of others.
Next time, you should always be careful with
your important data and always back it back well.
You could get his SD card data recovery freeware here:http://blog4mark.blogspot.com/2012/12/sd...

SOURCE: hd writer on mac
If you didn't get a mac version of the HD writer with your camera I don't think there is any.
But
You can also transfer AVCHD clips to a Mac running OS X 10.4 and above using iMovie 08.
You need to get iMovie 08 which is the first version of iMovie capable of handling the complex AVCHD transport stream.

Hi There, few things to follow:
1. Install an update from Panasonic website at www.panasonic.net (This is a pack of 4 files you need to download 1 by 1)
2. Plug your camcorder to the back usb and not in the front port.
3. Disable your Resident Shield on your anti-virus.
Done!
