Saniplus pump runs and pumps a cup of water and

Saniplus pump runs 10 seconds and pumps a cup of water and continues this 4 or 5 times before clearing the bowl. Vent problem? It has done this from the begining. I replaced the old one because it started doing this but the new one acts the same way.

Unlikely to be a vent problem - more likely a semi blocked 22mm outlet - hence the problem with the old unit & the new one. Tricky to solve as 22mm pipe runs are too small for conventional pipe cleaners. Some plumbers use compressed air to clear, others us pressured water (jetter) unfortunately it always ends up a bit messy.

How to brew coffee

USING YOUR PERCOLATOR
1.Wash the Percolator thoroughly before using for the first time.
(See "Cleaning Instructions" section in this manual.)

2.Remove Cover, Basket, Spreader and Pump Tube. Use cold, fresh
tap water to fill Percolator. Fill according to markings on inside
of Percolator for number of cups desired. Use cold tap water -
the automatic brewing cycle is timed to begin with a cold
water start.
NOTE: The bottom of the Pump Tube Spring marks the maximum
capacity of the Percolator.

3.Wet Coffee Basket to help keep small particles of coffee from sift-
ing through. Place Basket on Pump Tube. Add desired amount of
regular or percolator grind coffee to Basket.

4.Place Pump Tube with Basket into Percolator so bottom of tube is
set into Center Well. Place Spreader on top of Basket and snap
Cover onto Percolator. Attach cord to Percolator and plug into
standard household 120 volt AC wall outlet. Brewing begins
within seconds and continues at a cup-a-minute speed

5.When coffee brewing is complete, percolating will stop. The
Percolator automatically switches to "KEEP WARM" setting to
preserve fresh-tasting coffee at hot, ready-to-serve temperature.
For best flavor, remove Coffee Basket, Spreader and Pump Tube
when brewing is completed.

The SaniPlus toilet was just installed in my basement about a month ago. The water and waste will not go down. The motor continually runs, but the water level does not go down. Could it be blocked or is...

There could be a blockage somewhere in the drain pipe or inside the pump casing not allowing the waste to be pumped out. Refer to the installation manual/technical data manual and take a look at the schematic diagram for the Saniplus, It will show every component inside the pump casing, the short discharge pipe (# 7c) and long elbow (# 8) may be split open or not attached properly and waste water is just cycling inside the pump casing and not pumping out.

Sanipro continuously runs, however, not pumping waste away and waste water has filled toilet bowl. Any suggestions

There can be a blockage somewhere in the discharge pipe, the blade or impeller. Also the short discharge pipe or long elbow inside the pump casing may be split open or not attached properly and waste water is just cycling inside the pump casing. Worst case scenario could be a bad capacitor, the capacitor spins the blade and impeller, it that goes bad the unit will just hum and not pump any waste out until is replaced. You can also order parts through Saniflo if needed.

System works perfect however the pump now has started turning on every 10 or 12 min and runs for about 2 seconds then shuts off

This means that water is draining back into the pump, creating enough water pressure that is making the pump kick on and off at all times. You need to inspect the check valve inside the discharge elbow where the waste is being pumped out, the check valve may be obstructed or may need to be replaced. Also check the flapper on the flush valve inside the toilet tank (water closet) the flapper may not be sitting properly allowing water to drain into the bowl and from the bowl into the pump.

I have a saniplus toilet, the macerating unit runs about every 2 minutes for 1-2 seconds at a time. I'ver replaced the flapper and even turned off the water to the unit and stopped using it, but it keeps...

Water pressure makes the unit kick on and off. Water could be leaking from the toilet tank into the bowl and from bowl into the pump. Or the check valve inside the discharge elbow (on top of the lid) may not be sitting properly or is being obstructed causing waste water to leak inside the pump, creating enough water pressure to make the unit kick on and off by itself.

Saniplus draining in pulses

When you flush the toilet, the Saniplus will turn on and off once or twice, this is normal. If it turns on 3 times or more then could be a problem with venting or the discharge pipe installation may not be properly installed. But when you run the sink or shower it will turn on and off constantly, this is normal. The Saniplus pumps out the water as it comes in.

The espresso side of the machine stops pumping water after 5 seconds or so. At the same time the espresso on/off button and main display start blinking. Pushing the hott water/steam button will reset this...

The clue here is that the problem involves the hot wate and the single or double espressos. These three functions require accurate water measurements and they are programmable. It appears that the flow meter is not sending the correct information to the control unit. This could happen if you have blockages or if the flow meter is not working anymore. Most likely you need a new flow meter which only costs about $20 and should not be too difficult to replace. It is located between the water tank and the pump.
