A few days ago i moved some folders of my htc touch viva(windows,temp,documents etc)from the phone memory to my sd card.when i reboot my phone ,it needed the password i put it and the "worng password" message appeared what i have to do please answer me quickly

Move your pictures, videos, music.etc to the new card.

1. Switch ON your HTC Touch Viva with a Not ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2. If your HTC Touch Viva asks for a PIN code, then enter your SIM card PIN and press OK.
3. HTC Touch Viva will ask to enter an "unlock code".
4. Enter Unlock Code we send to you.
5. Your HTC Touch Viva is now unlocked.

in formatting an sd card., you must have a memory card reader/. then insert it into the card reader, next right click it then format it....

There are many models of the Touch. There is the Touch, Touch Viva, Pro, etc.

But with the HTC Touch, not the Viva, the maximum memory card accepted would be a 4GB SDHC MicroSD Card. So the 8GB card would be no good.

Back up all data from memocard, then format it in your PC using FAT format. After that insert to HTC and if recognized format it again in your phone.

This is because your Touch Pro is not a Mass Storage device. You have to actually take out the memory card and put the memory card into the Memory Card Adapter and place the adapter into your computer in the memory card slot. You then have to label folders for MUSIC, VIDEO, IMAGES, and DOCUMENTS and then place the files in the corresponding folders. It will make that noise because a USB device is being connected. This device can be used as a modem which is why your computer recognizes it.

Why this happens:
If for any reason your phone cannot find the SD card on boot it will create a folder on your Phone's Memory called 'Storage Card' to put the Temp Files, Pictures, Music, etc into. Now as soon as the SD card becomes available, since there is already a folder called 'Storage Card', it is forced to name the "Real" SD Card 'Storage Card 2'.
Solution: Delete the "Storage Card" folder and soft reset. If the phone finds the "Real" SD Card, it will be named 'Storage Card' again. If for some reason it is not found, you might have a corrupt SD Card that needs to be reformatted. This would of course loose all the information on the card, so hopefully this is not the case. Warning: If you have pictures or other files in the 'Storage Card' directory, you will want to move them to 'Storage Card 2' before deleting 'Storage Card'. Use the 'File Explorer' found in your 'Programs' to do this. Good luck!
