How can i connect my ipod to a kenwood excelon XXV-01D i see the aux plug in the back and when i pluged my ipod in i cant find the mode that allows me to play it.

There is a button that should say SRC or Source. Pressing it scrolls through the modes. Press once to move to FM, another time to move to Satellite, etc.

Q: How do I reset my security code? A:
If you do not know the security code for your unit, you will need to
take the unit to a Kenwood authorized service center to have it
decoded. The code feature can only be activated when the code has been
entered twice, so it isn't accidentally activated. The service center
will often require you to provide a proof of purchase as this feature
is designed for theft prevention and the proof of purchase will ensure
you are the rightful owner of the product.

From the stand by mode push the menu button. Scroll to the "Built in AUX" by pushing up or down on the Joggle. Now you can turn the function off or on by pressing to the right or left. Exit menu and Aux should be working.
