My cybershot dsc s730 Camera wont start. all I did was but new rechargeble batteries in and tried to push the power button, only thing happening is little red light on bottom next to erase button. Please help

Its part number is A1444049A (ST Block Assy) and its available at Part Store , price is approx $69.78

Did you try plugging it into your computer using your USB and then hitting power - sometimes this recharges the camera. Make sure you have new batteries in the camera when you do this and hold down the on button while you do it. If that doesn't work, than I think it's time to go somewhere to get it fixed or for a new camera. Good luck

sounds like a battery power problem or problem with the terminal of the camera ; you know the point where the battery meets the camera.
I would recommend a service center
