I put my sd card into the comp and put pics andf songs on it. then i put the card into my phone, the music showed up but it says i have no pics on my phone? whats going on?

You have to put the music into a folder that already existed on the sd card. If you put the music into any other folder other than what was there already, then you won't see it once it's inserted back into the phone.

when you put the songs on your sd card,did you make sure that you drug them to the music folder on the sd card,if you didn't they wont show up..the folder will say music or sounds.

If it is in fact an SD card, there is a small switch on the side of the card. It will turn it from write protected to writable. Let me know if you still have problems.

Dear this is the main solution.
create the folder of MUSIC in ur memory card. copy songs in music folder
create the folder of picture in ur mem card and copy paste the pics of it
when u insert the memcard in ur handset and u'll show all the data on ur phone

I think the problem might be that your phone is set to save pics you take with shine to phone instead of card. Try opening your camera, click "options", click "primary storage", then select "memory card". Take a test pic, pop the card in computer and see if it shows up. You should see a new folder choice -- "graphics". Hope that works for you!

i JUST bought this phone, and got very frustrated trying to download music into the music player. Drag and drop your music files from your pc into your "my music" folder. They DO NOT show up right away, this is why i got pissed. I figured I was doing something wrong. I had the card in my phone, and my phone plugged into the usb port. They finally showed up on my phone after I took the card out and put it back in. As far as saving them for ringtones, I am pretty pissed that I can't do it. I am thinking Metro wants us to pay for them. That is such b&*%$#*!

Put your card in card reader n check that files are not hidden or system.
Try this also:
Open the MMC drive
go to tools->folder options->view
clear the check box HIDE PROTECTED OPERATING SYSTEM FILES.
and set to show hidden files.
Click OK.
I number files increase and theres a file AUTOPLAY.INI
Then try formatting the card and after that dont put it in the computer from where u previously copied music.
That comp. is effected with virus.

To find your music on the SD, go to my stuff, sounds, external memory, mp3 and you should see your music. Playing it, however is another matter. You can play only one song. Then you have to manually play the next one. Not what I'd call an MP3 player.

If you have a memory card in the phone, you need to move all files to that... then you will be able to download things through bluetooth and move them also to the memory card.
