Can i repair a messed up lcd screen on an lg scoop?

you most likley have a crack in your screen. you can't fix it, you can only replace it. i hope you have insurance...

you need the replacement of LCD,

a #00 phillips screwdriver
a prybar (plactic manacure looking stick)

-there are 6 screws on the back housing,
-then 2 screws on the motherboard
-then 3 silver screws on the slide
-then another 6 screws on the back of the front housing
-gently slide small tabs on lcd out of front keypad, when reinserting new lcd, insert ribbons to white line
-reassemble

you can dig into the two pieces of housing with the pry bar, it will not damage the phone

I think the reason is sliding it up too hard. I've looked at it and done some experiments and i found that sliding it up too hard can damage the LCD screen and it will occasionally shut down without notice. So i'm assuming sliding it too hard is the main reason.

It's the LCD screen itself. I recommend that if it is under the manufacture's warranty to get it replaced. I have had to replace so many voyagers for that exact reason.
