Sega genesis works but has no sound

I know nothing about the unit but it sounds like a bad ground on one of the sound cables.

No tuning in a channel and better picture Quality

you need to have a small crappy tv unfortunatly....your 52" wont support it...also you may need to fine tune or find another channel GL

get an older tv...

Taking your problem in a whole new direction, why don't you try purchasing an 8 or 9-pin (depending on the type of Genesis you have) DIN RCA cable. This will improve picture and sound, and you won't have to worry about malfunctioning RF converters. Your problem sounds like the RF adapters are inadequate.

i have had this problem before, one pin on the part that goes into the sega is broken

If the screen changes (From snow to black or something) when the console is turned on it sound like the console is partially working. Try cleaning the Cardridge pins que tip and some sort of cleaning fluid.

Once this is done insert and eject the cartridge several times then repeat the cleaning process on the cartridge. Hope this helps.
