You need to select the correct camera from the menu options of Skype: enter the Tools-menu and select Options; select Video from the categories on the left hand side; check Enable Skype Video and select your camera from the dropdown at the top.
The advantage of having a logitech webcam is the support you have. I just launched my logitech toolbar and clicked on the lowest panel to see what help you have with your webcam in Skype - check this out
What pc is it? Laptop /desktop, mac/pc,os is windows or mac? vista, xp, etc? probably a driver problem, but would be helpful to know the pc environment.
http://www.camera-drivers.com/companies/605.htm if you take a look on this site ..you will see that all logitech drivers are built for windows xp..at the top...so.....if you are running vista or more...you will need a suitable driver for that ..built for vista or patched..( if so ..is understandable why it works in another pc with xp on) if this isnt the problem and you either have a vista compatible ...or are running xp on your machine ...its probably something related with your usb .. ity might also be ..so me driver related...I had someproblems once ...after I adapted a videocam ( digital) to work as a web cam ...and it needed a special program to do that ...some capture program ....after i uninstalled that ...I wasnt able to run a normal webcam ...cause it was already messed with my system files and it was asking for that frogram to run ...the solution in that case was to reinstall the operating system ...as a last resort you may try just that ...( it will fix any possible usb driver related problems too)

Right click on My Computer and click on PROPERTIES.
Then click on DEVICE MANAGER, and then click on Imaging Devices.
Next click on the + and then on the camera, right click and then click on
DISABLE.
Then click on the Red X in the upper LEFT corner.
Then get out of that and install your new camera.
Make sure to disconnecting the Camera from the USB
port and reinstall the software program. When the program asks
you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
