When I try to start my logitech webcam 9000 Pro , my pc always restarts.

Scroll down to find the correct software for the operating system on your computer. The QuickCam Pro 9000 can be used with the LWS (Logitech Webcam Software) versions 1.1, 2.31, 2.51 and 2.80. LWS 2.51 and LWS 2.80 do not support the Video Effects. LWS 2.80 works with Windows 8 and 10 and the direct link to the program installer is http://www.logitech.com/pub/video/lws/lws280.exe . It is possible your webcam is either disabled or the driver is corrupted. Try reloading the webcam software driver, reboot, and then try the free webcam test tool to check if it is working properly.

try to unplug the webcam. start your computer again then plug it again if you prompt to insert a software disc insert it and follow the step by step instructions. then restart. hope itll help!

Disconnect webcam
Close all programs
Uninstall software
Restart computer
Download from Logitech

Like alot of the other problems on here Try and upgrade the Drivers or unplugging and plugging it back in, that would Be the best bet,
Also try restarting your computer, but in the end it could be a Hardware Problem and it may be time to replace

Logitech does not support Quick Cam Pro 9000 on MAC OS. The only two supported operating systems are Windows XP and Windows Vista.

You might go with a bit more expensive Quick Cam Vision Pro that is supported on Mac.

hey try uninstal the software once &install the software again,restart and then use the webcam.it will be perfectly allright.

always use the software while working with the webcam
