My computer goes black in the middle of a game and won't come back. i can hear the game still going but can't see it

Sounds like a virus type of thing. If your son downloaded a game you need to uninstall that game and then you need to run a virus type scan to remove any thing that is left behind from that game.

Try Task Manager to close the game it because of slow process

Your battery could be starting to go out on you.

If the screen is just black and the PS3 doesn't turn itself off, then it could just be that the video settings don't go out through the correct output. This will reset the video output:

• Hold the power button for 5-10 seconds until you hear two beeps; then let go

OH no! okay something got disconnected is the rotor on now the coil is it attatch. okay now the distributor is the coil to distibutor wire in the middle of all wire okay now the firing orderwell you know what the firing should be right if it was off one or two it would of misfire so let go back.is rotor installed coil ,wire didnt fall out okay. no connection fell out okay coil wire goes in the middle of rotor okay ready to start. Do you have gas and can you hear the pump? Let me know we will take it from here

HARD RESET

1. Power Off the PS3 via the power switch in back and power back on w/switch. (60gb FAT if no switch in the back unplug it then plug it back in after a few seconds)
2. Hold Power Button on the Front until you hear 3 beeps.
3. Then go through the initial setup and then run a full Format via System > Format. (will take approx 3 1/1 hours). You may need to have our AV cables ready if your using HDMI (in case HDMI isn't detected after initial reset).
4. Restore your backup you made prior to doing factory/hard reset (optional, if you created a backup).

sounds like you have a bad cap in the power supply
these caps go bad all the time in many different lcd monitors
if you are game you can check it out your self by removing the back and taking the cover off the power supply you will probably see that there are a few caps there are the round upright cylinders that have a
line or x pressed into it check to see if any of them are swollen or popped up that is the bad one read the side of the cap it will say something like 470 uf at 25 volts they can be replaced really easy if you have a sodering gun or you can have someone do it for you
by changing these cans your picture will work great again

try ajesting the pixal shaders to 1.0

You have to go to yur mouse configuration and change the middle button. Seems like it is set at minimizing the window.

this might be the psp's problem you might of droped it .so go to a mechanic to help you pls. vote for me cloud_foe
