Purchased phone specifically for the ptt (push to talk) feature. If ptt is enabled, my battery life is around 7hrs. I disabled and it lasted 3 days. Very disappointing.

You can try to save battery time by changing your laptop to work in balanced mode, or just adjust the screen brightness lower. Screen takes a lot of power.

How to extend your battery life?

try reducing or use the recommended power saving settings on your unit or just maybe its time for your battery to say good bye because its about to end its service life...
i suggest you use energizer e2 lithium batteries is has long time run with digital cameras and is good for fast camera shooting. 10-year shelf life...you would be able to save a lot with this batt.
