Buy a can of compressed air, attach straw, slightly lift left clicker with finger nail and give good blast of air in the crevice, "few times" repeat with right clicker, this will clean out any dirt and hopefully fix the problem.
Try the following: 1. If your computer is running on Windows, try to boot into Safe Mode (you need to press F8 continuously upon boot-up then choose Safe Mode) and check if your Touchpad left clicker. If it works ok, then a software problem is causing the Touchpad to delay like that. Try reading this guide to solve it. 2. If Step 1 above doesn't work, try to use a compressed can of air to clean the Touchpad clicker and see if same issue occurs.
If still no go, this is a sign that your Touchpad is already wearing out and it needs to be replaced.
On your bottom right corner, seek or >>>right click on it >>> setting >>> on TOUCH sections >>> TAPS >>> CHECKBOX the taps to click and taps and drags >>>apply >>> ok.
Note : if cant find any those icons >>> go to control panel >>> Pointing device >>> Mouse
More then likely the button has worn out.The first thing I would try to check to see if its the button or not ,just plug a mouse in to the laptop and see if that works with left click if it does it just may need a new button put in.If your handy you may even be able to do it yourself. If you have any other questions just let me know.
THe same thing happend to me just now grrr......
I'm really not a technology expert or anything but, when I looked inside of the the "button" I saw a small scratch on the green and gold plate. Did you perhaps notice anything like this? I'll probably have to replace it or something........
But seriously, I hope this problem is solved soon.......
Hi there, Is it a mouse that has the ball in it?? If it is you need to take it out from the bottom and clean it off, sometimes they get dirty and won't work correctly....hope this helps.....
Check for dirt under the keys. See if you can blow under key and turn the laptop on it's side while you're doing it so anything under it can fall away.
