I dropped my phone in the pool. Immediatly got it out took out the battery dried it left it open for 4 hours. Tried it again it turned on but the key pad wouldn't work. took out battery again. Used a hair dryer. tried again and it actually recieved a call and I answered it Then it stopped working again. Took battery out again put it in a bag with uncooked rice and let it sit overnight. I need to at least get my contacts for business and I would like a suggestion on what to do. Thank you I dropped my phone in the pool. Take it to a cellular repair shop. Do not attempt to unstuck it with any sharp objects. I know it is tempting to do it, but dont. underneath the sim card there are contact pins that makes contact with the copper points on the sim card. if you mess up any of these contact pins, there can be extensive damage to the handset. Take it to a repair shop. They may either heat the sim card electronically to loosen any sticky debris or open the phone up and use a special tool to prize the sim out from the inside of the phone.
Do not try this at home.

You can try to insert another carrier SIM card.Then only you can enter special code. After you can follow the below steps:
1 - Switch ON your phone with a not allowed SIM Card,
2 - Phone show "Enter Special Code",

Hi! Sadly this phone is only available with Verizon, so they built it so you couldn't change sims (you actually don't need it physically to work). I'm guessing you want to use it with another company? This special phones wont work with any other network (they can't be unlocked since there's no sim to be swapped).

You can not open the iphone to insert a SIM card. There is a slot at the bottom of the iPhone and the SIM card goes in there. When you purchased the phone you should also have recieved a special gadget that you actually push into the bottom of the phone so that you can remove the Sim card. That is the only way to access the SIM card on the iPhone... The actual phone can not be opened..

first of take out ur sim card from mobile and switch off ur mobile phone . then again switch on ur phone ur phone will open in offline mode thenallcontact will be appear will be in phone memory . so now use "delete contacts" option .
motorola i305, carrier was nextel. i try to put my att. sim card in the i305, but didn't work. Now the phone saids it needs a special code. Does any body know the code and does this unlock the i305 that way i could use my att cincular sim card in it?
