Yes, but, why don't you check fist the gasket, maybe it just came out and need to put it back on track with glue sealant so that it won't come no more, if the gasket is not broken. if broken, just go to sears warehouse and give them the serial number, model number or parts number, either of the three they need it. ok.

My 1995 F250 is leaking radiator fluid under the engine behind the fan

Is antifreeze coming from "weep" hole in bottom of case under shaft nose?
is it coming from the heater hose (small hose coming of side and going into firewall to heater core inside engine compartment?
is it coming from bad gasket between pump and front case?

get a paper towel and dry these areas then start engine. when it starts leaking that will tell you if you need to change the water pump (gasket leak or weep hole shaftseal leak) or if you just need to replace/repair heater hose.

Fuel leaking out of 2 hoses connected to the carb cant stop the fuel leak

Inspect the fuel inlet hose closely. If you notice a wet spot around the hose where it joins the carburetor fitting, or the hose has become swollen, soft, brittle or hard, replace the fuel hose and the small fuel filter inside the carburetor fitting. Install a new worm clamp to tighten the new fuel hose to the fitting. Use a Phillips screwdriver.

Check for a fuel leak around the accelerator-pump cover assembly. Some carburetor models come equipped with a diaphragm-accelerator pump on the side of the unit. If the cover screws have come loose, fuel will leak through the diaphragm and external cover. Look for a square cover on the side of the carburetor and tighten the cover mounting screws at each corner with a Phillips screwdriver.

Look around the gasket located between the carburetor upper body and the main, or lower body. This gasket may have worn out or the carburetor upper body mounting screws may have become loose, allowing fuel to leak outside the carburetor.

Ensure the upper body mounting screws are tight, if you found a leak. If they are tight, remove the clip holding the throttle linkage to the carburetor with a pair of needle-nose pliers and reposition the linkage to the side. The linkage allows the driver to operate the throttle plates in the carburetor through a cable when depressing the accelerator pedal. Unfasten the screws holding the carburetor upper body from the main body with a ratchet, short ratchet extension and socket. Remove the old gasket and install a new one.

Inspect around the bottom of the carburetor where it joins the intake manifold if no leaks were found around the gasket located between the carburetor upper body and the main, or lower body. If you find a wet spots or marks around the bottom of the carburetor, the base plate gasket is leaking. Remove the upper and main carburetor body using a ratchet, short ratchet extension and socket. Install a new base gasket and replace the carburetor assembly.

Put new water pump on and engine continues to

The old gasket was not cleaned fully off. A very small peice will cause this to leak. Mechanics use 3M abrasive disc to clean off the gaskets which works fasst and clean on any small drill

Water pump still leaks 92 cadillac deville

yes always use gasket sealer on both sides of the gasket. and make sure the old gasket is completely removed but do not use a chisel ar anything as you will leave gouges in the metal and cause a leak. Best to clean it is with some sand paper and just take your time. And just a thougtht but all i use is the black gasket sealer. It seems to wwork the best.

New waterpump leaking

you only have one option...take the pump back for another one with new gaskets and use gasket sealer, making sure all mating surfaces are real clean before assembly.  Could there be a small hairline crank in the rear part that you don't see?
Maybe replace the entire assembly

Brand New water pump for my 93 dodge dakota leaks

sounds like a defective (new) pump...are the mating surfaces clean and flat without gouges?  Take the pump back and get a new one.  It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong unless you are accidently pinching the gasket.  Could there be a small hairline crack that you can't see?
Not finding what you are looking for?
