You could have fried the circuit board. Your best bet is to get rid of that guitar and purchase a new one.

Wii rockband drums having problems with switching it to on.

I have a harmonix wireless guitar and a wired drumset. Neither will respond, though they both show a blue light. I'm playing rockband 3 with rockband 1 instruments. Only the mic works and I have no idea why. Of course, I've tried new batteries in guitar, re-synced, powered on and off.. to no avail. Suggestions? Its a new in box set.

I dealt with Beatles Rockband Wii on 2 systems with 2 different configurations.
  1. Wireless Drum kit configuration. The Drum USB Transmitter has 2 additional USB ports, that allow Guitar/mic to be connected, plus there is the remaining USB port on the Wii
  2. Wired Drum kit comes with a 4 port USB hub, connect the hub to the Wii, and connect all instruments to the USB hub.
The Wii will only allow 4 controllers connected at once. So if you have multiple Wii Motes, then you may have to disconnect all but the one used for the Mic player (Press 1 on the Wii mote to unsync or remove the batteries)

How to I synch the Psyclone Rockster guitar to my Wii to play the Beatles Rockband game? I followed the directions by plugging in the receiver and pressing the 2 buttons on the guitar and the receiver at...

Call me crazy, but we had the same issue and just for kicks, tried hooking it up the way the book says for GH. It worked. Don't use the USB receiver, just put the controller in the back of the guitar, and give it a shot. The controller and receiver are NOT designed to work together, it is one or the other.

Can I use beatles rockband guitar with guitar hero for Wii

The 2 games are not designed to be cross compatible. The last I heard the 2 companies that make the games have no plans for it either.

Wii Rockband guitar lights keep blinking

Ensure that the receiver is plugged in to the USB port in back of the Wii Console. If the light on the receiver is blinking, too, then with the Guitar turned on, press the white button on the receiver.

Rockband special edition for wii....guitar lights and usb light is flashing

Make sure that the Guitar Wireless receiver, microphone, and drums are connected to the USB hub provided with Special Edition. Ensure that the foot pedal is connected to the drum set. Then, perform the following:

1) Ensure you have fresh batteries in the Wireless Guitar
2) Insert receiver into USB hub
3) Turn on Guitar via switch on back.
4) If both the guitar and the USB receiver is flashing blue, then press the guitar logo button until flashing blue light on the receiver stops flashing.

Good luck!
