Hi It is connected to the internet, but just shows homepage. If I disconnect the battery, the computer goes off, no longer how long it has been charging, even though it says it is fully...

First you need to check if there is some thing wrong with the Acer Aspire one battery or Acer Aspire one charger from your description, it seems there is nothing with the charger, if your battery had been used about 2 years you can replace it for a new one

Dont have the original hard disk in my aspire 3000, but I want to restore it to factory settings ??

Go to the acer site, they have the software. I assume you had everything on the old hard drive. Load windows onto your new hard drive. It will detect all your hardware. Actually, since you changed hardware, it no longer is an aspire 3000. I changed out all my stuff in my acer aspire to keep it up to date. The only thing left is the box. As you change hardware the motherboard will detect and adapt. You may still see the aspire logo as it is burned into the bios.

Forgotten user password

yes you can but you will loose all information on the computer. Try booting it up in safe mode by pressing F8 right after the acer sign soon as you turn the laptop on.
