A whitish residue has developed on all dishware, especially glasses. The stainless steel interior of the Kitchenaid automatic dishwasher has also been affected.
We have hard water and use a natural powdered cleaner from Biokleen. Phosphate and chlorine free, it contains a natural oxygen known as sodium percarbonate and extracts ofgrapefruit & orange.
The glassware has been always clean until recently. It is the best natural product that we've found. Is this a clogged filter problem? I don't know where it would even be located.
no its a hard water problem cut the amount of detergent by 1/2 but no less than a teaspoon make sure your rinse aid dispenser is full and once a year do a winger rinse use air dry or energy saving option put two cups of vinegar in a dishwasher safe measuring cup on the bottom rack.run a complete washing cycle using the air dry option no detergent the vinegar will mix with the water.run the washer through a normal cycle with detergent after cleaning the washer with the vinegar rinse this can be done once a year
