Cant log in shows 81003004 - Yahoo Messenger

as far as wat i did to my YM.

i simply checked the connection preferences and turned

"Connect via a proxy server."

then select

"HTTP proxy"

after that take a look at your internet connection dropdown list..

some mistakes are seen here.. instead of having the "broadband" connection selected the "dial-up" connection was chosen by YM itself..

ok first of all install an latest & updated version of antivirus and scan all the system throughly and delete all browsing history and in the temp dir
start>run>type --- %temp%
and delete all files in the folder of temp

install the latest ver of internet Explorer V8.0

and install the latest yahoo messanger from the site

error 81003004 is a connection problem,
Connection Problems;
1. Open your Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools > Internet Options then click the Connections tab
3.Click the LAN Settings button and a new dialog box will open
4. At the new dialog box, look for the Proxy server checkbox, if this is checked, uncheck it.check connect directly to internet then click ok
5. Then your done, click OK button for the dialog boxes.
6. Try logging in to your Yahoo Messenger account.

have you tried go to your windows firewall and check if yahoo messenger was blocked if you see it's not fine! but if you log in and this message appear again try this: if your antivirus has firewall also maybe that is the problem! if you have this one try to remove the protection for IM and messenger and i'm sure it will work for you

The problem I have with not being able to sign into yahoo messenger is that I get an error message with number that are 81003004. It says try again...new user and sign in problems. This has been going on for many months now and I have removed yahoo from add and remove and downloaded yahoo messenger many many times. I really like yahoo and essepically my radio station I created and miss some of my friends I cannot contact any more. Please help me resolve this problem. I can sign into my home page with correct password with no problem but not yahoo messenger. Like I said the error message I get is 81003004 that is showing up on my yahoo messenger IM log in. Go open Internet Explorer and go in the File menu and uncheck at the bottom the Work Offline option. Then go to a site using IE. Close IE. Open Yahoo Messenger and log in.
