I can sign into my Yahoo, but once I put in my password and click to open, at the bottom it says "opening page about:blank" but never opens, just freezes there. I cannot access my yahoo mail either. Is this problem witrh yahoo going to resolved soon? How can one access their yahoo mail until then? I found one link with three links for accessing, but all you get is a page that you can see you have mail, but you cannot open anything. All you can do is mark as read, etc, or delete all.

Are you using IE? This could simply be a browser problem. Try to use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. If not, this could just be caused by yahoo mail downtime issues.

Google have a new system with a differant co they are useless

I sign out of one account, Google keeps the cookie and keeps the last e-mail address I signed into as the primary account. When I need to switch between upward of five different accounts at any given time, instead of logging out and then getting a regular sign in screen, I now have to click "sign in with a different account," then "add account," then clear out the saved text in the text fields, and then log in. When I clear my browser information at the end of the day, I have to do all of this over and over again. So, no, it's not an aesthetic issue. It's a waste of my time issue.

I've been having problems with the new Yahoo mail on and off for some time, now I can't get beyond the login page since last night. Every time I click on 'sign in' it just takes me back to...

A switch back to Classic Mail should help.

You will need to contact Yahoo at the address below. Please follow these instructions in order to return. They will manually switch it back, but it could take a few days.

[email protected] Please put in the subject line: I want to return to Mail Classic.

I understand you would like to return to Classic Mail in your Yahoo!
Mail Account. I know this can be frustrating, I apologize for the
inconvenience this may be causing you. I'd be happy to address this for
you.

If you would prefer to use Yahoo! Mail Classic, I would be glad to
switch your account to that version.

In order to make this change to your account, I will need your written
permission. If you would like to switch to Classic, please reply to this
email with the following information:

* Please confirm that you would like me to switch your account to Yahoo!
Mail Classic

* Please let us know why you would like to switch. We're eager to
understand what features of the newest version of Yahoo! Mail we can
change or improve; and your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced; and we
hope we can help improve your experience using Yahoo! Mail.

I hope that with this information your issues have been resolved, if you
have further questions or need additional help please contact us back.

Unable to compose, reply, or forward in Yahoo Mail for the last 2-3 days

The inability to send, reply, or forward emails could be from a program that was installed on your computer that is now preventing the Yahoo! Mail Rich Text toolbar from launching properly. Try switching from "Rich Text" compose mode to "Plain Text" as a work around:
  1. Sign in to your Yahoo! Mail account.
  2. Click the New button to start a new email.
  3. To the far right of the "Subject" line click the "Plain Text link.
  4. Compose and send your email.
To make "Plain Text" your default when replying or forwarding, do this:
  1. Sign in to your Yahoo! Mail account.
  2. Click "Options," then select "More Options" from the pull down arrow in the upper right corner of your Mail page.
  3. Select "General" from the list of options on the left side of the page.
  4. Check the box next to; When replying & forwarding Mark original message with > (plain text only).
  5. Click the "Save Changes" button in the upper left corner.

I've been sending messages to someone on u-tube, by going under the rate/comment section but she hasn't responded back, that I can see anyway. So I'm wanting to know if the person responds,...

When there is a reply, you will receive an email notification informing you of the response. Chances are, she's just not responding to your comments. var geo_Partner = '1890d1e7-e721-4f9c-b474-1a19eda23e94'; var geo_isCG = true;

My yahoo mail stops responding every time i try to use it. I`ve tried using the new version which worked for a day and now its doing the same

Try clearing your browser's cache. The following website lists how to do this for the most common browsers. If you are not sure which browser you are using, open a browser window and go to Help>About.

Me email keeps saying not responding and has for days...

If this is a signing in problem with 'opening page about:blank', then this is not caused by a virus, trojan, or anything like that! Yahoo have been making changes to the appearance of their home page and also their e-mail. As a result, the screen resolution of 800 x 600 on many PCs will no-longer allow you to sign in. Try changing your screen resolution to 1024 x 768

My yahoo mail is blank and not responding, although I signed in.

If you are on a LAN see if you can have another computer to be used to access your mail. If the computer works you may need to check the settings of your browser or may need to install some plugins. If both computers would not work, have the router checked. It may be blocking some data.
