A big leak with that model is the drain tray in the rear under glass has broken loose. To check the drains, park vehicle on an down grade, open the glass and pour a cup of water in on each side and the water should come out the front, Turn the vehicle around to check the rear the same way.

The front drains are in the front corners of the roof. You can try plowing them out with compressed air, They could also have kink in them inside the headliner. You can access the rear by lowering the headliner.

Can I access the sunroof driverside drain tube from the wheel well? Like me and all the google questions aim chasing a water leak-- poured water all over the car no water-- but under pads soaked

Try opening all your doors and look at the bottom of the doors for the slots that allow rain to drain from inside the doors. They are most likely blocked and water will leak over inside the car. Blow compressed air to clear sunroof drains from the top while the sunroof is open.

Where is the sunroof drain located on 2002 monte carlo ss and how do i unclog it?

Water leaks are fun to trace out. the drain holes and tubes can be seen with roof open and can be unplugged with compressed air . but usually the headliner is soaked and leaks on to seats the windshield will leak on to passenger floor. remove glove box and check for wetness along "A" pillar.

Sunroof drain clogged

You may be able to clear debris out by using a long thin rod and pushing it into the openings on the front of the sunroof drain channels the pouring some water in to make sure it drains properly sometimes the drain pipes become disconnected inside the headliner but try clearing the obstruction first and see what happens.

I have a 2003 honda civic ex 2 door. I have a rain leak on the drivers side by the gas/trunk lever. I keep reading it most likely is the sunroof drain. Where is the sunroof drain and how do I get to it to...

It may not be clogged. I believe the sunroof drains run down
the roof pillars and then connect to another hose which exits
through the body behind front fender. Unfortunately the hoses
connect inside the car. Then again this might not be the source
of your leak and water leaks are hard to address. Your dealer
might be your best bet. If the sunroof drains are clogged, Honda
knows entry and exit and they have to be unclogged with compressed
air.

I've got a 2006 Saturn Vue that keeps getting water in the front, under the floor mats. It appears to be coming from the center underneath and behind the instrument cluster/center console. Could this be...

The most common source of water on the floor is a plugged a/c evaporator case drain hose. This drain is generally located down low on the engine side of the firewall at the passenger side and is usually a small short open ended hose that points down. Debris and bugs will clog this hose which makes the water that condenses on the evaporator [whenever the a/c is on] overflow and leak out of the heater/air conditioning housing and onto the floor. If it hasn't rained for some time yet you are still getting water on the floor I would bet on this hose being plugged. A puff of compressed air is enough to clean most of them out. Most sunroofs have one or two small drain holes that allow water to run down through the door pillars and onto the ground. If you pour a small amount of water around the top edges of the sunroof when it is closed you should soon see water dripping onto the ground under the outer edge of the vehicle. A few sunroofs just rely on tight weather stripping to keep the water out but those usually drip water on the driver or passenger if they are leaking. I see a lot of leaky windshields but again, it has to be raining for water to get on the floor from them.

Have a benz 01 ml320, with leaking sunroof drain on

Open up the sunroof and try to unclog the drainage. You will see this from the inside of the ML by opening the whole sunroof and stickin your hear thru. On the drivers side you will see a drainage whole similar to the passenger side. Mine did the same thing and unclogged it with a straw. [email protected]

Sunroof leak

there are drain hoses on all all four corners of the sunroof. to access the front ones, remove the front inner fender liners. you'll probably see a plastic grommet/spout that the drain hose attaches to. in the rear, remove the trunk liners on the side. you should see the drain hoses running down the inside of the quarter panel.
