I have a 2003 Hyundai Sonata that just dies when i'm driving
Not the battery. Once the car is started, a bad battery will not cause it to stop running all of a sudden.
For engine to run you need - compression, air, fuel, spark.
Might want to check out your ignition coil for an intermittent condition - try replacing it.
And if it does not turn over(crank) check the wiring going to the starter motor, solenoid, for good connectivity. And make sure that your fuel pump is always getting power and pumping.
Not to be mean, but what does a battery light on a 2003 Sonata have to do with Motorola 2-way radios?
Is this an automobile? If so the battery terminals might be getting dirty or glazed and not letting a good flow into the battery from the alternator. Just a thought, as I'm not an auto mechanic.
