The yellow light in the top left hand corner of my Toyota Corolla Verso (2004) has come on - Why????

Do a google search on it. Look for a video if you are a do it yourselfer.

Hi, I seem to have the same problem with my Corolla verso 2004. The steering lock doesn't disengage and the car won't start even though the immobiliser light stops flashing. Have you managed to get it sorted?

***** Update**** In the end I did manage to get my problem fixed. It had nothing to do with the key. The problem was a faulty connection in the immobiliser motor that sits on the steering column, It wouldn't disengage. Our mechanic checked and repaired the motor and now the car works fine. It's a very rare fault apparently.
