Hi, after the heater starts again and warms the home up and shuts down, do you have to turn off the switch to get online every time? I hope they haven't charged you for all of these service calls.I may not have the answer, but It should have a flame sensor on it that may be dirty. It would be next to the pilot with the rod of it in the pilot flame. If it does, clean it with steel wool, no sand paper.See if this takes care of the problem. Let me know so we can find the solution for you, this is crazy coming out and doing nothing to find the problem. Let me know Please!
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7

I HAVE A ALL-PRO SPC-85 HEATER. IT WILL LIGHT AND RUN, BUT IT SEAMS TO NOT BE GETTING ENOUGH GAS. WHAT CAN I LOOK FOR?

Your gas pressure is regulated by the gas valve .You will need a special tool to check gas pressure on the gas valve .
Make sure burners are clean ,filters and blower wheel .
A lot of time dust settle on blower wheel and make it harder to spin causing reduction on air movement

My gas endless summer heater shuts the flame off abruptly after 5 minutes or so. why??

The first consumable part to fail on a gas patio heater is the thermcouple, these can last anywhere between 1 year to 6 years. When faulty it will cause the heater to shut off when turned on at pilot. Found this site very useful patio heater problem solving.

It sounds like you've read the manual.
And cleaned the burner parts according to manual.
You replaced thermal reset, but system is still tripping, so either the gas valve and tubing are bad, the thermocouple is bad, or there is a problem with gas pressure, or gas line.

Storage

Kerosene does not get stale or go bad like gas. I would make sure the tank is close to full to prevent condensation and just put it away in a dry place. I have stored over 50 each year for many years and have never had any problems.

DO NOT attempt to repair this yourself. LP gas is a very unforgiving gas. Sounds like your heat exchanger is plugged. Yes it can be removed and checked, BUT it is not recommended. Trust your local repair tech. Any heater 15+ years old should be discarded.
