Throwout bearing?? When pressing on the clutch pedal, make a scraping metal sound, like it is skipping , (not solid straight sound) skipping. Goes in gear fine, runs fine in gear, just the noise -only while pressing the clutch, about 1/2 to 3/4 the way in. And, will it be a problem to fix at home??

Does the skipping sound speed up and slow down with the speed at which you push in and out the clutch pedal?

Sounds like it may be the throw out bearing, as it is what all of the pressure rides on. To replace it, you will need to remove the transmision. Take a good look to see if there is a a place to look inside, you may be able to see the problem.

My 2002 accent engine G4EB continue making clicking noise I've changed/put new hydraulic lifters and still make the noise.

Does your car have a manual transmission?
If so it could possibly be your throwout bearing.
That can usually be checked by slightly pressing on the clutch pedal. If the sound goes away then it is definitely your throwout bearing

My opel corsa utility year 2000 model 1.7 Diesel bakkie... the clutch pedal dropped almost all the way down and does not come up

Hi Gert:
Sounds as if the throwout bearing / throwout lever has failed.
This will require some mechanical abilities to isolate the problem and do the repairs.
Hope it goes well.

Whing sound when breaking /rattle as you press clutch

Sounds like bearings in the transmission does this noise differ depending on the amount of applied pressure to the clutch pedal if so it may be your throw out bearing worn hitting against your pressure plate. Check your throwout bearing first.

Clutch grinding sound when engaged

it is the throw out bearing and if you go through that, you may as well replace the clutch, which must be removed to replace the bearing anyway.the clutch comes with a new bearing.
