Do you see any "Unknown Devices" branch of the Device Manager "tree"?
If so, "expand" that branch, double-click the "problem" device, and click "reinstall driver".

Download e2220 vga drivers for computer

e2220 is the model number for the Intel Processor. It doesn't have integrated graphics or sound. You need to tell us what the video card and sound card is on the computer. If you are unsure, you can find this information on newer versions of Windows by going to the Control Panel > Device Manager, or through Control Panel > System > Device Manager and looking under "Display adapters" and "Sound video and game controllers." Once I have that, I'll should be able to help.

Dell 8400 - no sound from speakers? Worked in the past.

Should have the hardware driver "soundmax integrated digital audio" Check in device manager and make sure that is what is says under sound, video, and game controllers. If not then you need a audio driver. Go to support.dell.com and put in your service tag and down load the audio.

Another tip is trying to plug your speakers into the front headphone jack. if they work it might be a bad jack in the back.

Make sure the speakers are good and getting power. You can try them on a nother computer or even mp3 player.

My pc no sound but there an icon of audio.

Its quite possible that you have more than one audio output device. Integrated and Non-integrated. 1, make sure audio plug is plugged into the right sound device and port 2, If you updated your sound card or any recent updates from mircrosoft its possible the new drivers will make it seem to work but really they don't. go to start, right click on Computer, go to properties, and then look for the advanced tab (xp), or device manager to the left (vista+ users) go to sound, video and game controllers. right click on the sound device and go to properties, click on driver tab, then roll back drivers. if it says there are no drivers to roll back to.. try the other device if theres 2 audio devices and try to roll back that one.

I have acer aspire 3000 notebook. i have switching off problems with that before. one of ur expert told me to open back cover and take memory sticks out and put them back. i did that but now i donot hear...

Right click "My Computer," "Properties," select the Hardware tab, Device Manager. Go to Sound, Video, and Game Controller. Find the integrated sound device, right click. Select properties. Confirm that "device is working properly." If it is, you have the correct drivers and your issue is a hardware or codec issue. If it is not working properly, go to Acer's website and download the correct sound drivers for your laptop. This should solve your problem.

No sound device

? mark means no sound driver install or errors in Device Manager. u can check ur mother board cd room or can search ur audio driver in web or below may be ur answer

Question: Where do I locate motherboard sound drivers?
Answer: Users who have motherboards with on-board audio (often with VIA, Realtek, or C-Media chipsets) may have issues with their audio or AC'97 errors in Device Manager. Often this is caused because the operating system has been reinstalled and the motherboard chipset drivers are not installed. To resolve this issue try following the below steps.
Let Windows redetect drivers
If you have not recently reinstalled Microsoft Windows it's possible that your audio drivers are simply corrupt. Open Device Manager and remove all devices under "Sound, video and game controllers" and any "Other devices". Once removed reboot the computer and let Microsoft Windows re-detect the audio drivers.
Motherboard chipset drivers
Reinstalling the motherboard chipset drivers will usually resolve this issue. If your computer came with a Motherboard CD, install the chipset drivers from the CD and the sound drivers if also available on the CD.
If you do not have a motherboard CD, obtain the motherboard chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacturer.
Sound card drivers
If after installing the motherboard chipset drivers you continue to have issues install the sound drivers. We suggest you download the sound drivers from the computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer.
A listing of motherboard manufacturers and their drivers can be found on our motherboard chipset drivers page.

No sound...

open the control panel, system/device manager..look for the audio section(codecs) see if any of those are marked with a question mark or exclamation point. if they are, uninstall that item, then go to scan for hardware changes, under the Action tab.

may need to get new drivers for your HP first though..go here for those.
