if hanging? try to reset the phone first (type *#7370)

updating the mobile using nokia software updater is not so reliable coz it never back up all important data such as pm,rpl as well as the securities and other necessary data that can provide by a gsm gadget...

check if the pc recognize the mobile...

be sure you have nokia pc suite too so that the mobile drivers will be recognized.

also need a stable internet connection.

battery must be fully charge...

You need a software. download software nokia pc swite or ovi swite in your pc. And connect 5130 in your pc. Go to pc suite or ovi swite software. Then open the software. You see your phone model in this software, click your phone and you will see connect to the internet? Click to the internet option. Your pc are connect to internet using mobile.

To connect the internet pc from the cell phone you have to follow these steps:-

Things you need:-
1.A data cable (if it is a desktop wihout bluetooth) but if you have bluetooth then you don't have to get a data cable.
2.Nokia PC suite (Download from HERE).
3.A internet recharge if is provided from you Service provided.

What you need to do:-
1.Connect the Phone to the computer.
2.Open PC suite from the computer and click on "Connect Internet".
3.And also make sure that you have proper settings from the service provider.


Note:-Please make sure that your service provider provides you the facility to connect the phone for the pc internet.And the data cable is in working condition.
Read proper instruction before downloading the NOKIA PC suite.

In order to connect internet to a PC through your mobile you will have to subscribe for 3G/GPRS/EDGE from your SIM provider. If you have the service subscribed at present, install Nokia PC Suit in your PC and connect the handset with USB cable or Bluetooth and In PC Suit there is an option "Connect To Internet" Click on it and with your ISP provided configuration [User ID : Password], (if any) you can access the internet after connected successfully.

After downloading please install PC suite in your computer and connect the phone to computer.To connect to internet keeping mobile as moden you need to subscribe to the packet data first.

To subscribe to packet data you need to contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office.
They will send you the settings for your model. Please save the settings to your phone and set it has a default settings.Then you can start using the internet in your phone.
