The battery is inside the camera. It is very small, and part of the motherboard. In other words, if this camera's battery life is short, your camera is dead.

To locate the battery on your Polaroid Izone 300 Digital Camera, please remove the back case of the Izone 300.
On the bottom of the camera, you will find three screws that hold the case in its place. Use a screw driver to remove them. Now, take off the back of the case and you will be able to access battery in the camera.
It is plugged into a socket on the inside of the camera.

I have the same problem with my izone 300. I charge it for approx. 2 hours and it says that it's done charging but the battery only lasts for about 15 minutes.
From what you say I imagine this is built into the case with no opening to allow removal.
So that it is recharged in situ.
It that right.
If so Polaroid is the only place to go- unless you can open up the camera to see what the battery is like.
I imagine that in fact it can only be a standard type of battery but perhaps modified to fit he Polaroid housing.
