Cleaning a self cleaning oven

Jennair Model # W106B-C. The oven is in the house we bought and there are no instructions how to make it self clean. Turnring the knobs to CLEAN and locking the door doesn't work but it does start a fan blowing. I think it must have something to do with setting the timers but don't know what. Any suggestions?

This is an older model than the instruction manual you suggested and nothing in the instructions related to the controls on this model (no digital display pad etc). Thanks for trying.  Does anyone else have a suggestion for the kind with turning timer knobs?

I couldn't find any information on that specific model number, but here is a link to a generic Jenn-Air Electric Range - Use and Care Guide which seems to be model non-specific. The instructions for performing a self-cleaning (as well as other tasks) might be the same for yours.

I've put a request in with Maytag (they own Jenn-Air) regarding the availability of a manual for that model or specific instructions for running a self-cleaning for that model. I'll relay their response when I recieve it. When seaching for info on the model, it may be helpful to have the serial number as well. It should be located right next to the model #.

Maytag (Jenn-Air) responded to my inquiry and has emailed me the manual for the W106B-C as a pdf attachment. If you can provide me with an email address I'll gladly forward the manual to you.

Self cleaning oven directions

Press the self-clean button.  The panel becomes blank(---), then press the up arrow( ^ ).  The panel will appear 3:00 (indication for the duration of self-cleaning). The oven will lock on its own and start the self-cleaning.  Good luck, ya'll!
