You should change back to Classic Mail until these issues are sorted out.

Simply click on options, located on the right hand side of the page. Click Switch to Mail Classic and the old version will return.

if you want to go back to the classic version of yahoo. you can click on the option button on the upper right part of the screen. then click on Mail Classic, you should be back on the classic version of Yahoo.

I believe that you have to actually use the older Yahoo!Messenger version if that is what the option you want is. You can download any old Ymessengers at www.oldversion.com. And you must uninstall (do not have two versions of Msgr. at the same time ) whichever version you decide not to use.
