Everything on my computer right now is all messed up thanks to myself, originally I don't know what I did. Not able to get the original home page, and the page with my e mails is all bunched up in the middle of the page not able to read them nor able to send e mails. Did you try using the System Restore feature? In Win XP, you can go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Try restoring back to an earlier date before you made changes.

As for how yo recover your original homepage, I really don't know wha't Toshiba's URL. You should look it up in your History and redefine it at your browser's option
On internet explorer go up to tools pull down the menu then to internet options then you will see a place you can fill in the Web page UHL and set it as the default home page.
Unfortunately, the only way I know how to get a valid product key is to have the product key on a sticker put on your computer by your Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). As much as I don't like giving Microsoft money, there is really not a lot of ways around this. There are sites out there that have illegal or hijacked product keys, but that is an easy way to get a virus to mess with those sites.

You can share your harddrive. for that open my computer then right click on harddrive icon then click on sharing and security. Then share the drive and set permission to everyone to full rights or read or write. Then apply. then go to another computer then go to my network places then you can see shared drive. I'm not so certain about how the crazy search size thing happened... but I do know that if you hold down on Ctrl and scroll down with your mouse it will decrease the font-size on the web-page you are viewing.
As far as your browser window sizing, firefox saves the non-maximized window size every time you shut it down(exit firefox). What I suggest is that you open a firefox window in the non-maximized window size, and stretch & position it the way that you like it... and then exit firefox. Pop-up ads and windows will mess with the window sizing without a person even knowing about it... rather annoying if I do say so myself.
plug it into your computer and through itunes on your original computer you will be able to reset it. If it is not the original computer that you are using you will be able to reset it but will probably lose the information on it. Hope this helps

To scan to a file 1 Set the Default scan destination to File with the Kodak Home Center software. 2 Place your original face down in the right front corner of the scanner glass. 3 Press Scan. 4 Press Start. The original is scanned and saved to a file on your computer according to the scan settings in the Kodak Home Center software. To scan to an application 1 Set the Default scan destination to Application with the Kodak Home Center software. 2 Place your original face down in the right front corner of the scanner glass. 3 Press Scan. 4 Press Start. The original is scanned into Kodak Home Center where you can open it with the application of your choice.
