THE WATER CONNECTION TO THE INPUT OF THE HUMIDIFIER IS LEAKING? - -IF THIS IS THE CASE, SHUT OF THE WATER SUPPLY TO THE HUMIDFIER, UN-SCREW THE INPUT CONNECTION, USING SOME PLUMBING WHITE CONNECTION TAPE, WRAP A COUPLE OF TURNS UNTO THE THREADS, RE-CONNECT AND TURN ON THE WATER SUPPLY. IT SHOULD STOP LEAKING.
IF ITS THE OUTPUT OF THE HUMIDIFIER OR DISCHARGE TUBE, THIS IS NOT UNDER ANY WATER PRESSURE LIKE THE INPUT IS, AND IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE HOSE MAY BEJUST LOOSE OR CRACKED AT THE HUMIDIFIER. CUT OFF THE HOSE AND RE-ATTACHING WILL WORK OR MAY EVEN NEED A NEW HOSE.
Found a hairline crack in the water canister. Had to locate by filling the canister and waiting for a couple of minutes for water droplets to form outside the canister. This ever so slight crack allowed air to enter the chamber and made changes to water dispensing rate which overfilled the resevoir over time ( hours). The cracks were not visible under 10X magnification without the water droplets.
Sounds like the air flow is too great and it is blowing the water in the bottom of the tray around before it gets a chance to drain. Try placing your summer, winter damper at half closed to slow the airflow down a little.
Humidifier water pad comes w/ a mark in one end, that mark should be on top. Also check your feed tube they tend to crack some times. if if still leaks water change the water pad
Try to just fill the tank with water and set it upright on a table. If it leaks, the tank is cracked and needs to be replaced. Order one at kaz.com (search using model#). I have had this tank leak if the special cap is not sitting properly on the base. Make sure that the steam tower is properly locked in place before you place the water tank in the reservoir. The cap on the tank has a spring release that has to be correctly lined up so it only releases water when the water level in the reservoir drops.
