I have the same problem. Does it have something to do with the phone's software? I've used the 'update software' several times but it won't fix it. Just wondering if it's worth doing a master reset?

    Can anyone help?

The battery discharge so fast even with a new battery

Hello,

Your phone battery terminals are corrode that is why it discharges all your phone batteries so fast.

All you need to do is to replace the battery terminal of your phone and you will see that your battery will last you very long.

Take care.

Sony ericsson s500i won't turn on

Take the battery out, press the on button, wait 3 min, put the battery back in, press the on button and see what happens. If this doesn't work, try to borrow a different battery.

After that your probably looking at a brick.

Purpose of pressing the one button without the battery is to discharge any residual charges that might be causeing problems.
Good Luck.

That's it, the battery's defective, it's not the camera...unless you've tried another (new) battery...

Hi k750i,phone works perfect but won,t hold a charge for long, even with new batteries. thank you

Before you change the battery:
  1. Charge the battery fully
  2. Discharge the battery fully
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2
If the battery does not reset itself and start lasting longer then you do need to replace it.

If that does not work the phone will require repair of the leads from the charger to the battery or the battery to the phone
