Look for:
(1) Condensate drip pan under the refrigerator (catches & evaporates water from defrost cycles) may be out of place or leaking.
(2) Drip Tray under water/ice dispenser may be overflowing (drain may be clogged, if so equipped).
(3) Leaking water supply line (to ice maker/water dispenser): Check:
(a) at inlet-valve fitting(s) and along all tubing going to ice maker & water dispenser,
(b) at water filter connections (check inlet & outlet fittings and any gaskets where filter is inserted,
>>> Tubing can develop a pinhole leak or crack if bent too sharply, pinched when unit is pushed back against a wall, contacting hot or vibrating parts (e.g. compressor or fan),
>>> If connections are the "push-on" style they can leak if the tubing is not cut off squarely - with no burrs, pinched, cracked or distorted ends (use a sharp knife or tubing cutter)
>>> If compression fittings are used with polyethylene tubing a ferrule must be inserted into the tubing end to prevent the tubing from distorting as the nut is tightened; also over-tightening nuts or reusing old compression rings under the nuts may cause leaks.
* Remember to vacuum out the dust bunnies from the fan, condenser coils and all air vents while you're poking around under the fridge!
