LIttle Green Bissell Water goes directly to collection tank, won't spray

Had a problem with mine not spraying, took ot apart and the heater for the solution was plugged with scaling, cleaned it up and works the very best now. As far as clean water going directly into the collection tank, sounds like the little hose may have a break or a leak in the vacuum hose.

Rug doctor won't spray water

I had the same thing happen to mine. I looked at the hose in the water tank and the screen at the end if the hose was slimy and clogged. I took the screen off and cleaned it up, put everything back together and it works like new again. Only 2 screws and a screen.

Scooba model 6050. The robot picks up dirt as found in the screen, but does not vacuum up any water. The dirty water tank remains empty after using all of the clean water. Help. Thanks.

the dirty water lines may be clogged. I don't exactly know how to un-clog it, but I would check to see if there is any way to flush them out. or talk to the company's customer service people. They would know what to do without voiding the warrenty.

After running for a normal cleaning cycle only about 1/3 of the water from the clean water tank has been moved to the dirty water tank.

this is by design. not all the water from the clean water tank will end up in the dirty tank, some is left on the floor, some evaporates.

Cleaning solution tank dumping

in some cases the reservoir that the tank sits on would have to be replaced. best way to tell is, if you take the tank off and pour a little water in the valve where the rubber gramet is. if it holds the water its good, but if it goes down without you pressing the trigger then it will be the reservoir.

I used my new proheat 2x steam cleaner the first

You may have mislaid a piece when you took your Bissell apart to clean it after using it the first time.

I experimented with mine to try and reproduce your issue. On the bottom of the water tank, there are two pieces that can be removed from it. One of them looks like a black plug at one end, with a red rubber flange piece on the other end. If you push your finger inside the red rubber piece, you can feel a spring move up and down. This is the first piece you place on the bottom of the water tank. I suspect you have this piece, because if you didn't, water would gush out of the water tank as soon as you turned it over after filling it.

The other piece, which is the one I think you may have have mislaid, is a larger black, plastic ring with screw threads. This piece goes over the top of the first plug piece, screws onto the water tank, and holds the plug in place. The words "RECLOSE TIGHTLY" appear on mine. If this piece is missing, the water tank does not sit flat on the base of the Bissell, but kind of flops around, out-of-place, and the unit will not dispense water properly, though it may leak it.

If ithat piece is gone, it should be possible to reorder it. Start here:
http://www.bissell.com/Customer_Service.aspx

If that's not the problem, if you have all the water tank pieces, I wonder if perhaps you unscrewed one black screw to remove the clear front plastic piece from the base of the unit-- the piece through which water is drawn up off the carpet-- to clean it, and didn't get it back into place properly. Make sure the two hooks at the bottom of this piece are inserted, one per side, into the clear plastic side pieces at the bottom. If the hooks are not secured properly, before trying to reinsert them, unscrew the black plastic screw so you don't break the tab. It's easy to miss getting these one of those hooks back in right, but it's important to do that before trying to screw the clear front plastic piece into place.

Will not spray

The heater is probally clogged. Remove the upper housing and locate a rectagular shaped object in the middle of machine. Remove six bottom screws and clean with stiff brush, clear all lines then run 3 tanks of hot water trhought he system to clear it.

Floor mate

There is a little post in the back where you insert the top solution/water tank, if you put the tank in incorrectly, (i.e., shoved it in, instead of putting it in at an angle, bottom first) there is a chance you broke it or bent it backwards. My mother broke mine, i've got the post but don't know the part, without that post inserted into the tank the water will not come out.
