I had almost 300 very important pictures on my PNY optima SD 2gb card. All but 27 are gone literally out of no where! I use a Canon Rebel camera. Is there any way to retrieve these pictures? There was no where on my screen an option to delete anything at any point! Please help me if you can!

I have a PNY optima sd 4gb memory card and it tells me on my samsung camera card locked. What does this mean? and how do i unlock it?

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

I bought a PNY Optima SD 2GB card, loaded it in my Lumix camera and took a number of very important pictures (of my engagement) which is let me take and I can see in the review mode of my camera. I then...

for safety I would take the SD card to a local Photoshop and see if they could print the Pictures for you. If they can, then they should be able to copy the data from one card to a new one. Try then to upload the pictures from the new card to your computer. If this does not work then you have a defective cad reader on your computer. You could buy an inexpensive external card reader which plugs in into your USB port.Aprox $25 at Walmart.

I have a PNY optima sd 2gb memory card and it tells me on my samsung camera card error. What does this mean?

My Sanyo camera says my sd card it full when it absolutely is not. Ive even tried uploading pictures to my computer and it tells me there is an issue. It just suddenly did this one day and I think I've lost about 150 photos from Easter and other things that I can't get back and worse I can't take any pictures with my camera now.

I have the VPC-S600. My husband accindently formatted the SD card with photos on it. Can I recover the pictures?? They are extremely important??? The Sd card is a Polaroid 2GB by PNY Please help????

Once the card is formatted, all is gone. A computer has a sector of the hard drive that "format" doesn't touch but portable storage devices don't have that protection.
