Virus if i had virus in sandisk mp3 player, what anti virus is nessary to delete that one.......?reply me...... [email protected]

One thing you can do is connect the mp3 player and right click on the icon, when the menu appears click on scan with: (antivirus) and let the scanner run all the way, it will show the infected files, go ahead and remove them. Sometimes the auto start file is detected as a virus because it is an executable file.
the other way is for you to format the mp3 player, same way right click on the icon and select format. with this you have to be careful because sometimes the firmware is hard to reinstall on the device.

I think what you see as files are actually viruses and cannot be easily deleted and even if you delete, when you insert the player again, you'll still see them. So you need to scan for viruses with a good anti virus. After that you can now delete anything you want. Make sure the system itself is properly scanned for virus.

If you cant delete the files then the files inside is affected with virus. The only way is to format the device.So that virus get deleted.

maybe your mp3 player in infected by a virus, the only thing that you can do is, you need to reformat your mp3 player so that it will be clean again, but you need to sacrifice all of your saved musics. then after doing the formating you need to scan it with an anti-virus program.

1.to turn off the mp3 pull on menu/quit button for 15 sec
2.try to delete all songs on it(or search with a anti- virus/spyware software in the device!)
3.nothing on 1-2 works try to uppdate your sansa you can find uppdate software on www.sansa.com
