Hello I am an expert on this particular model. Unfortunately with this certain camera it is not possible to edit the time and date. However I have a very simple solution which should take care of everything.
First you need to head over to Menards and pick up a 2 and 1/2 inch screwdriver model D604-5q. I have personally researched this camera and this is the only screw driver that works, unless of course you have a B2 socket Dingo wrench which can only be purchased in Australia. After you have purchased this screwdriver simply send the camera to me along with the proper tools and I will do my best to fix it and then I will send it back.
Option 2. Buy a 32 GB memory stick and insert it in your computer. Download a program called Clock X-pertm this can be found from a simple google search. After you have unzipped it, be sure to format it to your HQC proxy shrink located in the Sr400 wing of your Registry. Insert the stick into the camera, follow the quick 25 steps and you will be one step closer to accessing the Time and Date on your camera.
If everything is done correctly, this should take no more than 10-12 weeks.
