It sounds like a ram problem, what error beeps are you getting when first booting. The ram will make all fail if faulty, if you have two banks of ram remove one and reboot, if problem the same remove the other and replace the first, If you have boot success it is the ram, has some one told you it was the power because they were wrong, has there been a storm recently, as a last resort I would reset the cmos to default, you will of course need to re-set the boot order etc, let me know how it goes please
your laptop can't detect your hardisk drive first- go to cmos setup of your laptop then check if your harddisk is installed second- make your hdd on first boot. then exit and save your settings if no harddisk apear in your cmos setting your hardisk dirve has worn out or dead you have to replace it and reinstall the software..
