Hi,

It sounds like either the enclosure or the drive has failed. Take the drive to your local PC shop and have them move the hard drive inside your buffalo enclosure into a new enclosure to test it. If it works buy the new enclosure and your problem will be solved. If not then the problem is in the drive itself and you will need to enlist the help of the pros to retreive your files. If you need the pros, just reply here with you location(Country, State and City) and I will be happy to provide you with a referral to an appropriate facility near you.

This is probably because of the refresh rate difference from what the computer is set to in order to suit the monitor, and is either too low/or too high for the TV to handle. Try lowering the refresh rate to see if it's able to handle the signal.

Got new hard drive and more memory and now it won't work. Tried to Sync - got receiver to flash green but mouse won't connect.
With a new Hard Drive, if you haven't loaded all the Drivers for your compuer, it's possible the USB drivers are absent and the computer can't "see" the mouse. You can go to My Computer>System Properties>Device Manager and look to see if there are little yellow exclamation points next to any devices. If you see any, double click on them, and use the Update Driver button to automatically install them. Let the Installation Wizard go online to find and install the drivers. This is the simplest fix for missing or disabled drivers. Good Luck

Attach your external HD with some other computer, that will definitely appear normal, the problem is due to a virus in ur HD. Your computer's antivirus software stops it to appear. Back up your data on the other computer, format ur external HD, remove un-necessary files and run a virus scan to the files u copied from HD, Hope this will solve the problem, if not, let me know and tell me what would be the response on the other compuer

Computer shut off
you have a hardware conflict or a bad power supply/MB. or a bad video card/driver. or a bad RAM chip. uninstall everything but one chip, one HDD and CDROM, and one video card. install the OS rom there... then add items until it becomes unstable. the last thing you installed is the bad boy.
