Need a new heating element. had a look around cant find one for yours, maytag did recall a lot of heating elements due to severe problems. they are not a very good brand. i think the model is too old for a new element. Time for a new dryer i think. try Hotpoint or LG
Had this problem right before Christmas on same dryer. Mine is 9 years old.
Lint had built up in the exhaust hose between the dryer and the wall. Vacuumed it out.
Runs like a champ now.
Prob. some failure of a bracket or loose inside... Have a local tecnician check it out. i think that ll be best cause i can't imagine that will be an easy fix.
