We live in the Netherlands and cannot buy Nestle Cafe Frappe here so we always have to stock up when in Belgium or the UK but often run out and have to do without. Why is this product not sold in NL, when it's clear that the Dutch really enjoy coffee ? We all love this product and have lots of friends who do too and are equally frustrated at not being able to buy it at home.
Try talking to your local grocer. Ask them to please request it.
If they cannot get the item for you then it could be because of numerous reasons.
1. Someone thinks it's too expensive to bring it in.
2.There could be something (a chemical or ingredient) in it that your government won't allow for some reason.
3. Perhaps Nestle has a reason not to want to ship it there or can't ship it there.
I used to drink 3-in-1 coffee and tea that I could buy at almost any store. Then they took it off the shelves for some reason. It wasn't until about a year later that I learned that it was because it was made in China and contained melamine laced milk products. Same as the white rabbit candies that my children and I had enjoyed on so many occasions.
At the same time there is a certain margarine that I used to love and they took that off the shelf for no apparent reason. Alot of times it boils down to international trade agreements and such...which is so unfair because there is a chocolate bar and some gum that they make in the U.S.A that I loved as a child but can not buy in Canada.
Hope that helps a bit.
Good luck with your quest.
