My nokia 5800 XM not showing the contact names during incomng cal

goto contacts then settings then goto memory in use and select phone and sim then you will see all your contacts

I also have Nokia 5800 XM. From my own experience, the time from the beginning of incoming call until voice mail is provider setting so we can't change it manually. I think you can just increase your ringing tones so you can notice every incoming call faster.

Scan your mobile with mobile antivirus i will recommend quick heal 2010 . i prob persists check ur phone settings and contact service centre...

does this happen for all incoming call or only for those whose names have been stored in the phonebook.

Secondly just check whether u have specified the default tone under the group created to store the contact numbers.

for eg when u store a number they ask u whther u like to save it under the different group like frieds or family or office etc.there u need to select the tone u want to set for all group as well as for any incoming call.
work it out and u would solve ur problem .if it does then please vote fr me.

go to call setting in your phone and change the setting then you can identify your calls

Your nokia 5800 is not accepting call,It might be in two cases.
1.your phone might have network problem which you need to contact a phone repairer.
2.your can use this code (#002#) to cancell any divertion that might have occured.

I think te issue is that you have all the names on your phone in double, or your contact setting is on sim and phone.. so you have to make it either sim or phone and make sure you don't have any duplicate number

please reset call settings,display settings and check again

Probably not compatible with your phone. Try getting a new ear piece or your phone might have a software issue.
