Does it smell like a dead animal? or just moldy mildew smell? If dead animal, get it out. If mold/mildew smell, treat it with an AC ventilation dodorizer.

How do U replace dash lights on 09 Sonata?

take off outer trim molding usually clip on or few screws and that should open up to mounting brackets or more screws to the instrument cluster. once you have the instrument panel or cluster out you should see access to the lights.

Moldy smell from ventillation

Many times small pieces of leaves and other organic stuff can get lodged in the evaporator core, making a musty stink. You will have to clean and disinfect the evaporator core to get rid of the smell.See if you can find a kit for this at a good parts store(like NAPA or Carquest)

Car takes a long time to start. Then there is a smell of gas. Also seems to be sputtering when I am driving. Could this be the fuel pump on my 2005 hyundai sonata? Any other options would be greatly...

if its flooding, its probably more of an electrical issue,, the smell of gas, is unburnt fuel being sent through the system, thats caused by non firing in the cylinders, which means no spark at times, although it could be a fuel pump due to loss of pressure, you can have the fuel pump pressure checked for fairly cheap and eliminate the fuel issue, I would check the rotor, and cap for bad spots at the contact points , a weak coil could also cause this, or even fouling plugs depending on what other symptoms you car is showing, an easy way , is to have the OBD codes read on your car , many places do this for free so shop around , once you get the codes your car is throwing , post those numbers here, and we can figure out what the solution is !!

Power steering fluid smell when using defrost??

Do you see any sign of power steering leakage under the hood? The air intake for the ventilation system is right in front of the windshield, and maybe vapors from the engine compartment are mixing in.

The other question is, are you sure it's power steering fluid you're smelling? Coolant/antifreeze has a similar odor. If you think it may be antifreeze, check to see if the carpeting in the front seat area is wet. You may have a heater core leaking, which would allow the coolant into the cabin area.

Camry ventilation system

Hi. The smell is due to water accumulation in the outside ventilation chamber every time there is a rain, or you wash it, water will get in it, no matter what you do, unless you got the car garaged, of course. Replace the cabin air filter, and remove the grill underneath the windshield wipers and vacuum it. That's the best thing you can do.

A/C

I would check the cooling fan for to much resistance or friction from the bearings in it.The fan should spin extremly free. You can try to put juice directly to the fan and if it doesn't spin up quick,or fast enough try replacing the fan from a junk yard.
