Need information on haw to change water pump ,would like a diagram showing how to change the water pump

There's a YouTube video at the link below showing replacement of the water pump and thermostat. It's lengthy, but at 29:40 and 30:18, it shows the cover bolted to the block. It should give you a pretty good idea of the orientation of the cover and the water pump.
According to information I found elsewhere, 1993-2001 is all the same.

The water pump on that engine is not really hard to do and can be done without any special service tools. The three hard parts are: 1. getting the front engine mount bracket out - you have to wiggle it just the right way with the engine jacked p to just the right angle to get it out. and 2. Getting the rear timing belt cover off and... 3. Getting all the timing marks to line up correctly.

I don't know about any video to show you haw to do this, I googled YouTube and found videos for about everything EXCEPT this engine.

Air pump/Smog pump and Compressor go on first, on the shaft. Power steering goes on next Altenator is the last one. After market pulleys and the above mentioned parts may change this order.. 1983 olds delta 88 royale

There are also two serpentine belt types for the 2002 sable. The S and U type engine. Take the old belt with you the the parts store. As for the diagram, I googled it under images and about a dozen correct ones came up. Remember the 2002 sable is the same as the 2002 Tarus.
